The Newark campus of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is 320 acres of fields, forest, teaching facilities, laboratories, graze land, and outbuildings-all within walking distance of the main UD campus. Animals grown for research, production and educational purposes include dairy cows, beef cattle, poultry, sheep, swine, horses and Delaware's legendary Blue Hens. The campus boasts two main buildings-Townsend and Worrilow halls-a 35-acre Woodlot, a 10-acre botanic gardens, animal-health research laboratories, an insectary, greenhouses, an apiary, and an income-generating dairy operation.
